Plantronics BackBeat Fit – Bluetooth headset for active

For some time, he was following me to buy wireless headphones – those that would be perfect for a gym and running – but that idea was still going on later. The key moment was to have the Apple Watch, which practically forced me to buy a Bluetooth headset. Training with your own music, no cables and just a watch on your wrist – that’s what I meant. After a fairly long search of the internet I found a model that seemed like the right choice – Plantronics BackBeat Fit.

About Plantronics

Plantronics Inc. As early as 1962, it produced the very first lightweight headset to communicate and is currently the world’s leading designer, manufacturer and headphone headset provider. Plantronics products are widely used in most of the prestigious Fortune 500 companies and have been used in numerous films and events since the historic walking of Neil Armstrong as the first man on the Moon in 1969. The brand offers wireless headsets for office and mobile solutions, computer headsets and wired professional systems for offices and call centers.

Headset construction

BackBeat Fit is an in-ear sports Bluetooth headset. The whole is integrated with a flexible headband and let’s call it “ear pads”. Modern design and rubberized and matt surfaces make for a very cool impression. Headphones are available in black-lime, black-blue and black-gray. The case / band attached to the set is in the same color as the equipment.

Headphones housings are ergonomic with angular bushings. Silicone overlays are applied to the sleeves – they can be moved and adjusted to fit the ear so that it is comfortable. BackBeat Fit is actually mid-ear design and half-penetrating. There are large buttons on the dome and a microUSB charging port on the right. The headband is very flexible and pleasant to the touch. It has a slightly reflective surface. Headphones have one universal size.

The performance of the headphones is very good. The materials used are of high quality and there are no visible deficiencies or folding problems. Although the design is sporty, the hardware is still universal.

Contents of the package

The kit is packed in a handy box and the earphones are solidly protected. We get a neoprene case for the handset itself, which has two functions: a standard case that will fit the handset and – when turned over to the other side, an armband is made from it. The band has velcro and it seems to be quite sturdy. The idea is very interesting. A short USB cable with microUSB connector is also included.

It is pleasant and clean. Bas as for earphones but we will not have it as much as the earbuds – unless we push them very deep but it will affect our comfort. Let’s remember that these are mainly sports headphones and in this sector they perform really well. An important and important feature is that they do not cut us off from the environment – it has a particularly strong impact on our safety if we run around the city. At the gym is also a plus – we do not have the feeling of clogged ears and lying down or leaning against the machine, contact with the headband does not transfer the vibration to the ear, which is extremely unpleasant if we practice in earbuds.

The middle Tony really falls out pretty well. No problem and nice vocals, which are readable and pleasant voice calls. Highs are clear and legible. They do not sneeze or fight. There is also a good space. Sounds seem to be clearly separated from each other. Nice, wide stereo sound is heard.

In my opinion, the BackBeat Fit headphones from Plantronics are very good and fulfill their functions 100{fddd2cdff16c35e3a95527bae5554a60c7f37e601ec0181f1ceb9e0afc76d4ae}. The in-ear housing is a smart move that gives you much more comfort in the gym and safety while running around the city. I recommend.
